Neighborhood Residential Inc. is a private, non-profit organization that provides a variety of quality housing and support services through residential and community based programs for people with developmental disabilities or special needs and those involved in their lives.

We provide up to 24-hour personal care, protection and supervision for individuals living in our residential settings. Our Adult Foster Care homes are licensed for up to six beds and are regulated by the department of human services (State of Michigan). Currently homes are operated in Oakland County and Macomb County.

Our employees must successfully complete a two-week direct care instructional program, plus additional training in CPR, First Aid, HIPAA practices, Recipient Rights, Bloodborne Pathogens, Multiculturalism and other requirements as mandated by both state and federal laws. All of our employees are carefully screened and selected via criminal history background checks, fingerprinting, professional and personal reference checks, employee health physical and Macomb County or Oakland County background checks.
